A: Each mobile device can support up to 80 accounts.
Q: If I haven't yet activated the Steam Mobile Authenticator, will I be on a trade cool down when I do activate it.
A: No
you won’t receive a trade cool down, but you will have to wait 7 days for
instant trades you will still have 3 day holds on all trades.
Q: I have Steam Mobile Authenticator activated but my items are still going into hold?
A: This is because you haven’t turned on the trade confirmation setting in steam yet, once you do this you will be able to instantly trade, there is no waiting period after activating this.
Q: How do I set-up the Steam Mobile Authenticator?

Q: I have downloaded the Steam Mobile Application, what should I do next?
A: Once you have installed the application, log-in to your Steam Account.
1) Tap the menu icon at the top left and select "Steam Guard".
2) Tap on Settings.
4) After you have selected "Get Steam Guard codes on my phone" tap "Next" and Steam will require you to enter your phone number and add the international prefix from the drop down.
5) Steam will send you a text message with a confirmation code. Enter the code to confirm you can receive SMS messages from Steam, if you didn't receive the code simply tap on "Resend Code".
6) Once the code is successfully entered, Steam will provide you with a "Recovery Code". The "Recovery Code" is to help you recover your steam account if you lose your phone.
*Write down the "Recovery Code" and keep it safe!
7) Once the Steam Mobile Authenticator is enabled, you will be given a random Steam Guard code that will periodically refresh. Whenever you log in to Steam, you will be asked to enter the code.
